Israel Rosario, age 62, passed away March 28, 2014 at the University of Chicago Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. He was Born April 3, 1952 in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico to Rafael Rosario and Teresa Roman.
Israel was a devoted loving husband to his wife Blanca for over 43 years, and he always put his family’s needs above his own. The biggest joy in his life were his children and grandchildren. He was a generous and caring man who would give his shirt off his back to a anyone who needed it. Israel loved the Lord and enjoyed praising him at Iglesia De Dios Pentecostal Luz Divina in Aurora, Illinois. He loved sharing the gospel with everyone he met and spread God’s love for everyone. Israel worked for over 40 years as a “grease monkey,” fixing and rebuilding cars. He was known for being a big jokester, sometimes not the funniest jokes, but they were always funny to him.
He is survived by his wife Blanca, his daughters Myda Rosario, Teresa (Daniel) Nunez, Yanely (Felix) Segui, his grandchildren Alex, Alexis Berger, Brianna, Arianna, Israel Nunez, many brothers and sisters, and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his daughter Betsy.
Visitation will be Wednesday April 2, 2014 from 4:00p.m. until services at 7:00p.m. at Inglesia De Dios Pentecostal Luz Divina,142 South 4th Street, Aurora, Illinois 60505. Internment with be Thursday April 3, 2014 at Arlington Cemetery, 105 East Lake Street, Elmhurst, Illinois 60126 following services starting at 10:00 am at Inglesia De Dios Pentecostal Luz Divina.
