Hayden Jarillo Vergara, age 39, of Mundelein, passed away September 20, 2020. Hayden was born December 21, 1980 in Mexico to his parents, Isidoro Jarillo and Olga Vergara.
After high school, Hayden became a barber. He met his wife, Alma, at a party and they were married for 11 years. They had two daughters together. He also had a son from a previous relationship.
Loved ones will remember how funny Hayden was, and how much he liked to joke around. Even when a joke wasn’t that funny, his laugh made everyone laugh anyways. Hayden enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and exploring the outdoors. His favorite hobbies were his car and tattoos.
Hayden is survived by his parents; his wife, Alma J. Avalos; three children, Janitza Jarillo, Heydee S. Jarillo, and Drego E. Jarillo; siblings, Olga Jarillo, Maleny Jarillo, Isidoro Jarillo, Yuri Jarillo, and Igor Jarillo; aunts, Minda, and Martha Echeverría; cousins, Lilian Echeverría, Gabriel Echeverría, Eder Rebollar, Randy Rebollar, and Jose (“Pepe”) Rebollar; and nieces, Lesli Jarillo and Zayuri Jarillo.
Visitation will be 5:00p.m. – 9:00p.m. Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at Seguins & Symonds Funeral Home, 858 Sheridan Road, Highwood, IL 60040.
Funeral service will be at 10:00a.m. Thursday, October 1, 2020 at Santa Maria del Popolo, 116 N. Lake Street, Mundelein, IL 60060, Father Miguel Martinez officiating. Interment to follow at Ascension Catholic Cemetery, 1920 Buckley Road, Libertyville, IL 60048.
Mourners are encouraged to review the funeral home COVID-19 public health policies ahead of time. Face masks are required to enter the facility.
