Edward William Kroll, age 63, of Chicago, passed away on June 3, 2020. Eddie was born March 5, 1957 in Chicago, IL to his parents, William Robert Kroll, Sr. and Marie Louisa Kroll (née Stratton).

Eddie served in the U.S. Army, and had reached the rank of Corporal when he was honorably discharged in 1977. During his service, he earned the Sharp Shooting Medal.

Eddie had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. He was loving, kind, and had a generous heart. He enjoyed riding his bike along the lakefront, and he cherished his dog, Sep. He also enjoyed helping the homeless. He believed in the Lord and read his Bible daily.

Loved ones will remember Eddie as a wonderful Son, Brother, Uncle, Great Uncle, and Great Great Uncle. He was greatly loved by both his family and his friends.

Eddie was preceded in death by his grandparents and parents. He is survived by his siblings, Frank, Patricia (Michael) Saczawski, Karen Mahon, Linda DePoy, William R. (Nancy) Kroll, Jr., Maria (Neal) Cybulski, Charlene Kroll, Jeanette O’Hara, Darla (John) Young, Ilona (Michael) Buetsch, Chris (Tim) Costello, and Jenny Kroll; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11:30am, Thursday, December 3, 2020 at Dundee Township East Cemetery, 420 Dundee Avenue, East Dundee, IL 60118.
