Donald met and married his wife, Krystyna, in his 80’s. This finally brought his lifelong dream to reality … a daughter and grandchildren to enjoy. A complete family that he loved and who dearly loved him in return. He also loved to travel, and found it was more fun doing so with a wonderful wife by his side.
Donald was the president of the Alaskan Veterans, and organized their annual reunions for many years. He also enjoyed fishing and gardening.
Loved ones will remember him as kind, strong willed, determined, motivated, and organized. He was a loving, brave, and faithful gentleman, who was very patriotic, ever loyal to his beloved country.
