David Valentino Madrigal, age 31, of Elgin, IL, passed away on May 29, 2021. He was born July 7, 1989 in Aurora, IL to his loving parents, David and Monica Madrigal (née Hernandez).

David did quality control for a t-shirt printing company. He loved riding motorcycles and going on car rides, shooting at the gun range, watching movies, and listening to music. He enjoyed cooking and was very creative with ingredients, making his own concoctions, always topped with ketchup or hot sauce. Camping and grilling with the family was also a favorite activity because he loved being outdoors.

David was sometimes loud, and always playful, and enjoyed joking around. Family and friends will remember him as a lovable teddy bear. He was a loving, caring son, brother, and tio who loved his family and friends dearly.

David is survived by his parents; sisters, Virginia Madrigal and Vanessa Madrigal; and nieces, Niamya Quintana, Naomi Quintana, and Isabella Bowman.

Visitation will be 5:00pm until funeral service at 7:00pm, Friday, June 4, 2021 at Symonds-Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park Street, Elgin, IL 60120.

Mourners are encouraged to review the funeral home COVID-19 public health policies ahead of time.
