Armando Marchan, age 38, of St. Charles, passed away June 21, 2020 at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL.  Armando was born in Winfield, IL October 6, 1981 to his loving parents, Jesus and Elvira Marchan.

Armando will be remembered by loved ones for his confidence, his passion for life, his sense of humor and optimism.

He was a hardworking family man who was dedicated to those he loved. He was engaged to his high school sweetheart, Rebeca, and they had shared a wonderful life together.

Armando loved waking you with a smile. He always wanted loved ones to be joyous and happy.

Armando was a passionate Cubs fan, and at his very first Cubs game at age 20, he was as happy as a kid at Disney for the first time.

In his free time, Armando enjoyed reading, chess, fishing, attending car shows, watching UFC fights, listening to music and attending concerts. He also loved sports, including playing soccer, golf and swimming.

Armando was preceded in death by his father, Jesus Marchan and grandparents.

Armando is survived by his fiancé Rebeca Cantu; children Aryanna Cantu Marchan and Noah McGehee; parents Elvira and Armando Guzman; siblings Denise Marchan, Carlos Guzman, and Melissa Guzman; and nieces and nephews Isabel Guzman, Emily Guzman, Adrianna Guzman, and Mia Nino.

Visitation 10:00a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11:30a.m. Saturday, June 27, 2020 at Symonds-Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park St., Elgin IL 60120, Father Jorge Loaiza officiating.

Mourners are encouraged to review the funeral home COVID-19 public health policies ahead of time.  Face masks are required to enter the facility.
