Antoinette “Toni” Kastner, 74, of Algonquin, passed away at Central DuPage Hospital on June 22, 2020. Toni was born in Chicago on August 9, 1945 to her parents, Joseph Sr. and Isabel Pibolis (Kedzierski).
Toni graduated from high school in 1963 and went on to work for Xertrex, retiring after 25 years.
She shared 56 loving years of marriage with Ronald E. Kastner, after being introduced by her brother. Together they raised three children, and she cherished time with family. Her grandchildren were her world.
Toni will be remembered for her sweet, selfless nature combined with her fighting spirit.
She was known as “mom” to all; she made everyone feel welcome and part of her family.
In her free time, Toni enjoyed listening to Neil Diamond, and watching Hallmark Christmas Movies, Star Trek, and Days of Our Lives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Joe Pibolis, and two sisters, Georgeanne and Mary Pibolis, and many close friends who were like family.
Beloved wife of the late Ronald E. Kastner, Toni is survived by her loving children, Ronald F. Kastner, Michele (Russell Kirkpatrick) Kastner, Denise (Andrew Carter) Kastner; grandchildren Ronald C., Tyler, Jacqueline, Jacob, Emily and Ryan; siblings Theodore (Nora) Pibolis and Raymond (Casimira) Pibolis; and nephews Tony and Chris.
Joint visitation for Ron and Toni Kastner will be 5:00p.m.- 9:00p.m. with Funeral Service at 7:00p.m. June 30, 2020 at Symonds-Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park St., Elgin IL 60120, Rev. Michael Murschel officiating.

Loved ones can also participate remotely by sharing stories and memories to be displayed in the chapel through the Symonds-Madison Caring Hearts Program by 12:00PM on June 30, 2020.
Visitation will continue 10:00a.m. – 11:00a.m. July 1, 2020 at Symonds-Madison Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Acacia Park Cemetery, 7800 Irving Park Rd., Norridge, IL 60706.
Mourners are encouraged to review the funeral home COVID-19 public health policies ahead of time. Facemasks are required to enter the facility, and capacity restrictions of 50 people are in place.
