  4. Condolences and prayers for Joyce’s family; and surviving husband, Lowell Childs, a fellow employee pilot at American Airlines… It is always special when widows and widowers can find each other in their later paths in life…. Being the latter, myself, know the treasure and value of such a connection.. Bless you both for the short travel down the path of life….. Aloha,

  5. Joyce will always be remembered as a humorous, honest and caring person. I first met Joyce and Howie through my late parents Carol & Dennis Peden. I later met Lowell Childs through my parents. Joyce was a loyal friend of our family. She was always available to assist my parents, pick me up from the airport, or give emotional support. I had wished her and Lowell a Merry Christmas o Dec 25th 2021 but was unaware of Joyce’s passing until January. I will miss her very much. Good friends will be remembered for an eternity. God bless the Scheidt family and my condolences to Lowell Childs.
